Pharmaceutical Engineering
Pharmaceutical engineering is concerned with pharmaceutical science and technology, which includes the creation and manufacture of pharmaceutical products, procedures, and components (i.e. drugs & biologics). While the development of pharmaceutical products requires many interrelated disciplines (e.g. medicinal chemists, analytical chemists, clinicians/pharmacologists, pharmacists, chemical engineers, biomedical engineers, and so on), the subfield of "pharmaceutical engineering" has only recently emerged as a distinct engineering discipline.
